The climatic changes are forcing architects to come up with new and visionary designs in order to make living possible in the most unusual places on Earth. That’s why New York-based company Phu Hoang Office has developed a project called “No Man’s Land” which is destined for regions near the Dead Sea.
As you probably realize, eco-architecture is not a new element, and it consists of carefully designed projects, using green materials and an eco-friendly look. The latest project based on such techniques is Habitat 2020, an urban megalopolis concept that aims to develop a sustainable housing system.

There are many structure projects who seek the LEED certification awarded by the USGBC, but not many get it. Still, it’s worth trying and big efforts will be repaid therefore the city of Las Vegas has begun the construction of an 18 million square feet sustainable development.
In a recent article we informed you that Chicago will be the home of an impressive structure, the Eco-Bridge. Well, if you thought that the bridge is great, wait until you’ll see the Chicago Spire which is destined to become world’s second tallest building. The tower was designed by Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava and in 2011 when it will be completed it will be 2000-feet tall.

Also, you should know that under warm temperatures the water expands therefore the oceans will rise a lot.

Called the Coolsingel Project because it’s going to be built in Rotterdam’s shopping district, the Coolsingel.
