For the Seven Pearls district, Zaha Hadid Architects have designed a new opera house and cultural centre will will support about 5000-square meter of exhibition space.
Finally, green architecture is appreciated at its true value as a green home designed by Sarah Featherstone was sold for a record price of £7.2million the equivalent of $14.2 million. The structure is called Orchid House and it’s a part of the Lower Mill Estate, the project that has the purpose of turning a swamp into a 450 acres natural reserve.

Cybertecture is the architecture of the 21st century and the company that will take it even further is James Law Cybertecture International. The company was assigned by Vijay Associate (Wadhwa Developers) to design a building like no other for Mumbai, India and they came up with the Cybertecture Egg.
The renowned Croatian architects 3LHD have designed another great project called House V which is a fancy family house. The House V is placed near to the Medvednica mountain in Zagreb (Croatia’s capital) and it was built as a perfect house which will “satisfy the needs of a family”. Far away in the cold, in Khanty Mansyisck, Siberia, began the construction of an extraordinary green tower which was designed by Foster&Partners. This eco-tower resembles the entertainment center in Kazakhstan and it’s based on visionary green technologies for buildings.
EnCana is one of the leading corporations in Canada and for their new headquarters, they assigned Foster&Partners to design a building that will be the first mixed-use development in Calgary. EnCana’s headquarters will be sustainable and will provide spaces for cultural, civic and shopping activities. Bow’s façade will absorb the energy coming from the sun and will warm up the tower.The project is due for completion in 2010.
Many of the futuristic buildings and structures are designed by award winners Foster&Partners. We all know about their visionary projects and today it’s time to bring up another called La Ciudad del Motor which will be built in Aragon, Spain. The Motor City will be a motor sports center and for the structure the inspiration came from the aerodynamic shape of a racing car.
A housing complex designed by JDS Architects + CEBRA in collaboration with Louis Paillard and SeArch will be constructed in Aarhus, Denmark. The 25,000 square meters complex will be deployed by Tækker Group and Brabrand Boligforening and will be completed in the Q2 of 2010.
