I guess we already cleared up that green architecture is the best, but I don’t know who are the best architects when it comes up green development. My favorite firm is Foster&Partners because it has designed so many super green buildings and structures. Their latest project is destined for Sydney, Australia, a city which hopes to reduce the emission with 60% by 2030.

Foster&Partners in collaboration with the Pritzker Prize winners, Ateliers Jean Nouvel, are planning to build the most sustainable development for the Aussies. The complex will be build on 250,000 where you will find commercial, retail and residential spaces.

The development will be managed by Frasers Property and the designers called it Frasers Broadway. The project will also feature buildings from Australian-based architecture firms like Johnson Pilton Walker, Tzannes Associates, Tonkin Zulaikha Greer and Turf Design.

The designers will use green rooftops, green technology, smart metering and solar powering in order to achieve carbon neutrality. For the moment they didn’t announce when the project will be completed but it shouldn’t take too long because the Aussies seem to be very serious about it.
