Prefab Residencia RR In Sao Paulo, Brazil

It seems like prefab materials are the latest trend and after Rocio Romero’s LV Prefab Home, it’s Andrade Morettin’s turn to design an interesting house made of prefab materials. The architect build his Residencia RR in Sao Paulo, Brazil, in the middle of the dense vegetation where the humid climate is very “aggressive”.

The constructions was designed to allow natural ventilation that will keep you cool in the semi-tropical climate. Residencia RR measures about six meter-high and its shell was made of prefab timber and unfortunately, its facades and joints are made of steel.

Inside you will find enough space for a kitchen, a dining room, bathrooms and three bedrooms with the mention that two of them feature private decks. Residencia RR is a sustainable building but it could be better and we expect to see more from many other architects.
