Waterfalls On The East River In New York

New York City attracts many tourists yearly, most of them want to see those impressive skyscrapers. Well, now the city came up with the “Waterfalls” project which consists of creating waterfalls on the East River all the way to the New York Harbor. The sponsors will be the Public Art Fund and the City of New York which will allocate $9 to $10 million for the project.

“Waterfalls” was designed by Olafur Eliasson and you shouldn’t worry about anything because the project also involves cleaning the water because the East River is kind of dirty. The waterfalls will be running from June until October this year. Can’t wait to see if they complete the project. I think they wil do it, considering the amount of money invested.

Now New York has huge waterfalls. I really hope the water is clean.
Umm, are there not hungry, homeless people who could be helped out with this public money? i’m just wondering…
